About Your Acupuncturist
Hello, my name is Evelyn Clarke, and I have been a health care practitioner for over 20 years. I am a registered Acupuncturist in Alberta and a member of the College and Association of Acupuncturists in Alberta.
I work conscientiously and compassionately with each one of my patients. And I strive to achieve the best therapeutic results possible, often integrating Acupuncture with Chinese herbal medicine, nutrition therapy and lifestyle modifications.
One of my goals is to assist Acupuncture move its way from alternative to mainstream medicine. I would like Acupuncture become more accessible and an integral part to health care, so a far greater number of people can experience the significant benefits of Acupuncture.
Before commencing my career in Traditional Chinese Medicine-Acupuncture, I was a Professional Ski Patroller for many years in Alberta and New Zealand after moving to Canada from Australia. During those years, I also worked in Emergency Medical Services throughout Alberta.
My personal injuries and professional experiences led me to natural and preventative healthcare through Traditional Chinese Medicine. I have great empathy for people living with pain and effectively treat sports injuries and any type of pain anywhere in the body.
After graduating from the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Calgary I moved to New Zealand for several years, where I practised and continued my enthusiasm for water sports, skiing and mountain biking.
During my time in New Zealand I discovered the passion and necessity to treat complicated diseases or conditions of unknown cause with clinical efficacy such as; Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, Irritable Bowl Syndrome, Headaches and Insomnia.
I also specialize in Prostatitis, a common condition affecting men of all ages. Prostatitis can be a frustrating condition that is not well understood and difficult to treat with Western medicine.
I treat many aspects of Women’s health and I am trained in advanced Cosmetic Acupuncture and Cosmetic Microneedling (collagen induction therapy). These non-invasive drug free treatments produce real long lasting results.
I welcome the opportunity to serve the Bow Valley community with natural and effective therapy for you and your family’s health concerns. I look forward to meeting you.

Acupuncture harnesses and amplifies the most powerful healing tool – YOU. It stimulates and increases more of your body’s own intrinsic natural healing resources. Because it amplifies and guides your body’s natural healing mechanisms, it can help with virtually any condition.
It is healing from the inside out, contrary to man made resources repairing and controlling from the outside in.
Acupuncture is one of the most relaxing therapies. Acupuncture works by balancing the whole body. As a result, your body instantly rests and most patients fall asleep while the body actively shifts into a state of balance.
A skilled practitioner provides gentle and pain free Acupuncture. Advanced Acupuncture techniques applied requires no needling into your area of pain or discomfort. This provides for a pleasant and relaxing treatment whilst achieving immediate pain relief and longer lasting results.
