Microneedling is collagen induction therapy, used to eliminate lines, reduce wrinkles and tone the skin.

Microneedling involves the insertion of very fine short needles into the skin.  About 200 of these tiny needles are on a roller that is gently rolled over the skin.

Microneedling significantly increases collagen production and transdermal absorption of anti-aging facial products, together this produces real long lasting results.

Microneedling has been extensively studied, it produces:

  • An average of 206% increase in collagen and up to 1,000% increase in collagen production after a single treatment.
  • A possible 140% increase in epidermal thickness.
  • An average 80% improvement in post burn scars.
  • An increase in the skin absorption of some products by up to 10,000 times.

The tiny needles cause a natural healing response in the skin.  As a result, collagen and elastin is produced rejuvenating the skin and slowing down the signs of skin aging.

Hyperpigmentation (dark spots):

Microneedling can reduce hyperpigmentation (dark spots) by increasing the turnover of the skin cells.

Acid peels are unable to reach the dermis unlike Microneedling.

Microneedling also facilitates the skin penetration of skin whitening products to further reduce hyperpigmentation.
